Subaru Teases The 2024 WRX TR

October 4th, 2023 by

Subaru has announced that they will unveil the much-anticipated 2024 WRX TR in its entirety at the upcoming Subiefest event, which will be held at the iconic Daytona International Speedway on October 7th. Fans and car enthusiasts alike can look forward to a comprehensive showcase of the new Subaru model, featuring all the latest specs, designs, and features that the company has been developing. This is sure to be an exciting event for anyone who loves Subaru cars and the WRX lineup in particular.

“Enthusiast-Focused” WRX TR

Subaru enthusiasts and car lovers alike eagerly anticipate the upcoming Subiefest event in Florida, where the automaker is set to launch a special version of its high-performance WRX TR model. This will be the second time this year that Subaru has launched a performance model at the event, and expectations are high. The new version, known as the TR, which stands for “Tuner Ready,” has been shrouded in secrecy, but Subaru has given us a tantalizing glimpse of what’s to come with a single photo of an elegant-looking wheel that partially conceals a red brake caliper.

The letters B and O on the part suggest that this model will be equipped with Brembo high-performance brakes, which are known for their exceptional stopping power and reliability. Insiders speculate that the TR could feature a more powerful engine, upgraded suspension, and a range of other performance enhancements, making it one of the most exciting vehicles to come out of Subaru in recent years. There is a wait to see what the automaker has in store, but one thing is for sure – the TR is sure to turn heads and set pulses racing when it makes its debut at Subiefest.

Is It Going to Be Similar

In July (2023), at the Subiefest California, Subaru unveiled the highly anticipated BRZ tS. This special edition model boasts some impressive features, such as Brembo brakes just like the soon-to-be-revealed 2024 WRX TR, an STI-tuned suspension with Hitachi dampers, and 18-inch rims wrapped in high-performance Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. To distinguish the tS from other BRZ models, Subaru added unique badging throughout the car. This makes the tS stand out and gives it a more aggressive look to match its impressive performance upgrades.

The new 2023 WRX is out now. The prices start from $31,625 (plus the destination fee) for the base model and go up to $44,415 (plus the destination fee) for the GT trim. It is unclear whether Subaru has followed the no-frills approach of the previous TR model, but it is unlikely that the new version will be less expensive than the base WRX.
