The Next-Generation 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is Almost Here

The next-generation Subaru Crosstrek is almost here. Subaru will be debuting the all-new 2024 Crosstrek at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show. There, the Japanese automaker will reveal the new Subaru Crosstrek as well as any new changes and updates. It has been rumored that the next-generation Crosstrek will feature a new remodel so we’ll have to stay tuned for more information. Aside from the new Crosstrek, Subaru has been working on its 2023 Soleterra which is its first all-electric SUV. Having recently partnered with Toyota, Subaru is hoping it can take advantage of the mutual agreement in order to offer consumers a powerful EV SUV that embodies all the special qualities that Subaru fans love. For now, we’ll discuss the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek and see what consumers can expect.

2024 Subaru Crosstrek to Debut at LA Auto Show

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is here. The next-generation compact SUV will debut in November of 2022 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Subaru is allegedly planning to offer a newly updated Crosstrek with improved performance and capability. The Subaru Crosstrek currently comes equipped with a 2.0L boxer engine that delivers 152 horsepower. There’s also a 2.5L engine that offers 182 horsepower, though this is only available for the Sport and Limited trims. The Crosstrek also offers consumers a hybrid model with the 2.0L engine. 

While the current Subaru Crosstrek offers impressive performance and capability, Subaru is aiming to improve the compact SUV. This means increasing the engine and fuel efficiency of the Crosstrek. Subaru will also utilize a new frame structure for the Crosstrek which will make it slightly larger than before. This extra size will add additional room for extra passenger and cargo space. While these will likely be the bulk of the changes, consumers can expect the all-new 2024 Crosstrek to offer a lot more versatility and efficiency. 

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek will also arrive with a new Wilderness trim similar to the Forester and Outback. This off-road trim will equip the 2024 Crosstrek with off-road equipment and features to help it traverse tough terrain. This includes increased ground clearance and features like X-Mode with hill descent control. The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek will have its official debut in November. Subaru will likely open order banks for the compact SUV in the Spring of 2023. Those interested in the 2024 Crosstrek can expect to see it available in dealerships either in the summer or fall of 2023.
