This is paired with rear-wheel drive and comes with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Subaru has increased the power of the 2.4L, so the BRZ comes with more acceleration. The engine is also more responsive.

Drivers will enjoy the BRZ’s cornering abilities as well as its agility. The sports car also comes standard with a limited-slip rear differential. As for fuel economy, the 2022 BRZ gets 21 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway with the automatic transmission. The manual gets 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.

Subaru has also redesigned the 2022 Subaru BRZ. The coupe still features a driver-centered design with two seats in the rear, but the interior cabin has been updated with a more modern aesthetic. Red contrast stitching and heated seats add to the aesthetic. Drivers enjoy good visibility due to the low seating position and the coupe’s thin front roof pillars. As for technology, the 2022 BRZ features an 8-inch touchscreen in the dashboard’s center. It offers physical knobs rather than touch inputs. The sports coupe also offers advanced safety features like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warnings, forward collision warnings, and adaptive cruise control. At an MSRP of $27,995 (plus destination fee), the 2022 Subaru BRZ serves as an affordable sports car with high performance and versatility.
