Kenny Ross Subaru Hosts Successful Recycling Event on America Recycles Day

On Wednesday, November 15th, Kenny Ross Subaru participated in America Recycles Day by hosting a dedicated recycling event. Teaming up with Westmoreland Cleanways and Recycling, we aimed to gather hard-to-recycle electronics from our community. Residents enthusiastically cleaned out their homes, garages, and storage spaces, contributing items such as TVs, computers, DVD players, and more to our event. The volume of donations required multiple trips to transport everything to the recycling center the following day.

America Recycles Day, also recognized as National Recycling Day, is an initiative by Keep America Beautiful. It serves to promote and celebrate recycling practices across the United States. Keep America Beautiful encourages individuals to adopt a lifestyle of reducing, reusing, recycling, and repurposing daily. The inception of America Recycles Day traces back to 1994 when two employees of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality proposed the idea to the National Recycling Coalition.
